Raven Denim at Perchance Boutique

Raven Denim made a name for itself with the ultra flattering denim trouser dubbed Mackenzie. Impeccably cut with amazing details, the Mackenzie remains a best seller as reinterpreted by designer Y-el Torbati, who joined the team in 2009. Creative Director Ya-el has over a decase of premium denim experience under her belt, as well as seven additional years designing for other fashionable brands. As the founding designer of Yanuk Jeans and former co-owner of Deener Denim, Ya-el brings a fresh outlook to Raven Denim while maintaining the brand’s roots.  Established in 2994 in NYC, Raven Denim moved to the west coast and settled in the denim capital Los Angeles in 2008, under new ownership by manufacturer Kris Park. The tailored philosophy of Raven remains intact, as designer Ya-el’s attention to detail, vintage-inspired aesthetic and extensive knowledge of fit yields exciting new cuts and styles each season.

Following in the footsteps of the Mackenzie trouser, the Remy skinny, Sadie Kick straight-leg, and Mackie slim-boot trouser have become signatures in the line. Newcomers like Orly high-waist wide leg, the slouchy slim Wren boyfriend jean, and the Vivian short share the spotlight. In the Spring of 2010, Raven launched a men’s collection echoing the classic appeal and trend-setting details of the women’s line.

Fabrics are sourced from the best denim mills in the world. Every garment is cut and sewn in Los Angeles and all of the washed are meticulously hand processed locally.
