Born and raised in Southern California David Kahn has always had a passion for fashion. After studying and graduating from the USC School of business administration David Kahn moved to Chicago and began his career in active sportswear. From there he became bicoastal for 10 years between New York and Los Angeles. During this period Kahn merchandised for a designer sportswear house. After that he located permanently in Hollywood California and became identified in the contemporary sportswear market.
At the insistent urging of many of his clientele who were asking for quality denim jeans with a fabulous fit to offer in their retail shops he formed David Kahn Jeanswear in 1999 with an exclusive Los Angeles Denim manufacturer.
