Perchance Boutique opened its doors in the hot Southport Corridor district of Chicago in the fall of 2007. Founder Mary Liz Lehman designed the head-to-toe clothing boutique to feel like a vintage-glam living room. The 1,750 square foot space features black glass chandeliers, framed green “femme fatale” artwork by a famed NY artist and old Asian cabinetry mixed with white lacquered fixtures. It’s a unique environment not easily forgotten.
What sets Perchance apart from the rest is the unique mix of collections from both established favorites and lesser-known designers, ranging from Loeffler Randall to Bettye Muller, Tibi to Sachin + Babi, and Tucker to Beija. Perchance devotees love how every piece is “on-trend,” wearable, and well-constructed. The thoughtful assortment from an evolving designer list attracts chic women in their 20’s to their 50’s in sizes 0-12. The Perchance girl is a CEO, a mom, or both! She relies on the Perchance team to help her find stylish outfits for all facets of her busy life.
Since the re-launch of its e-commerce in 2010, Perchance has earned a reputation nationally for having a top notch website that offers gorgeous photography, great fit and style advice on every single piece as well as amazing service for all online shoppers. Now women all over the country can enjoy the true “Perchance experience” due to clever online features like the constantly changing “How to Wear It” page and seasonally updated “Trend Update” report.
Perchance welcomes any woman to come visit the airy, beautifully decorated boutique, or website, to see first-hand what shopping should be…fun! With sales girls who feel more like girlfriends, and a mix of gorgeous pieces for any occasion, Perchance stands (in beautiful heels of course) above the rest.
